I was watching the president deliver a speech today to a very enthusiastic very supportive crowd. The problem with the President's speech is that it's the same old speech where is he lays out a bunch of innuendos, half-truths and gray areas and expects the American public to buy it. Yep, the president was very much supported until you realize who was in the crowd. What the president's handlers had done was go to a union picnic which is 110% behind the president because the president is bailing out their companies. The unions want to keep health care costs under their control for their employees and the president's all about that so consequently the president was surrounded by a bunch of slobbering babbling idiots who don't know anything more about running their own lives than he does.
I've noticed that there is a distinct vacuum of presidential presence when it comes to true life American town halls. Have you ever seen the American president show up at a true town hall meeting where the majority of the people know what's going on and they don't like what he's trying to do and are willing to ask tough questions? The answer is a resounding no. The president's handlers do not want him embarrassed when he is unable to answer a question by a citizen. Because you cannot preprogram his Teleprompter to intercept questions and post the answer for him.
So the pundits say, absolutely agree on this point, we the people need to keep running our mouth just as long as loud as we possibly can. Congressional conservatives and Republicans need to keep their mouths shut. After all, why should they open their mouths say something that might be controversial and give the state run media a chance to dog pile all over the speaker and take the public scrutiny of the morons who are constantly running their mouths in front of every available microphone. There is an old adage in politics, if your opponent is steadily imploding do not open your mouth do not try to assist, let them go about creating their own demise in peace.
